KINGSWAY CRESCENT

The property is located on one of Toronto’s most prestigious streets and the neighbourhood is well known for its understated elegance. A number of homes and streets in the area have great historical significance.

The goal of the design was to build a home that was natural and intuitive to the history of the neighbourhood. From the street a central French style entry leads through a central hall and a light filled round breakfast room.

The high cost of the real estate necessitated the careful planning of the above ground and below ground floor plans. To maximize the storage areas we designed an unusually large basement level. Above the extended basement is a cut stone formal garden and terrace. The garden is completed with an in ground pool and a tranquil pool patio.

The home we designed features a large basement storage area, an interior car ramp and classical French Provencal facades. The interior design continues the tradition of understated elegance.
